Job Description
Description
- Contacting suppliers to set product specifications, schedules, and negotiate pricing.
- Ensuring cost-effectiveness and availability of products within budget limits.
- Evaluating vendors based on service, pricing, and reliability.
- Recommending changes in suppliers or products when issues arise.
- Supporting the introduction of new or improved products.
- Sourcing better suppliers and materials based on technological advancements.
- Maintaining inventory levels of regular items to meet safety stock and target quantities.
- Monitoring product costs and negotiating prices to keep them within optimal levels.
- Coordinating with other departments to establish effective procurement systems.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting.
- At least with procurement experience, but fresh graduates are welcome.
- Ability to analyze costs and make logical purchasing decisions.
- Willingness to be based in Ortigas, Pasig.
