- Inspecting and assessing the condition of pool equipment and water quality
- Testing and adjusting pool water chemical levels to ensure they meet health and safety standards
- Cleaning and maintaining pool filters, pumps, and other pool equipment
- Performing minor and major repairs on pool equipment
- Installing new pool equipment and systems, such as pumps, filters, heaters, and pool lights
- Removing debris from pool water with nets and cleaning tools
- Providing clients with guidance on pool maintenance tasks they can perform themselves
