Role Description

This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, on-site General Physician role based in Caloocan City. The General Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services, including conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, coordinating with nursing and allied health staff, and ensuring accurate, timely medical documentation. The role also involves patient education, health promotion, and participation in quality improvement or clinical training activities to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Medicine and Primary Care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of common acute and chronic conditions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Family Medicine, with the ability to provide holistic, age-inclusive care and continuity of care for individuals and families.
• Candidates should possess collaborative skills related to Nursing, including effective coordination with nursing staff and understanding of nursing workflows in clinical settings.
• Candidates should possess Training skills, with the ability to participate in or deliver clinical education, mentorship, and continuing professional development activities.
• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid professional license to practice as a physician.
• Relevant clinical experience in primary care or family medicine; experience in community or outpatient settings is an advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Caloocan City and to adhere to organizational policies, local regulations, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
