Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Assistant at Sweet Treat Pharmacy and Compounding Lab, Inc., you will be an essential part of our pharmacy team, providing vital support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing.
• Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy workspace.
• Welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Managing inventory and restocking pharmacy supplies.
• Handling financial transactions and processing insurance claims.
• Operating and maintaining pharmacy equipment.
• Performing administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and data entry.
• Providing information to customers regarding over-the-counter medications and other products.
• Complying with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in pharmacy-related fields is a plus).
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
