Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes to various structures, and maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces (wood, drywall, metal, masonry) prior to painting or finishing.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and specialized spray equipment.
• Set up staging, ladders, and scaffolding safely to reach elevated surfaces.
• Protect surrounding areas, furniture, and floors using drop cloths, tape, and plastic sheeting.
• Inspect completed work to ensure an even finish, correct color match, and high quality.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and spray machinery after each use.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the job site.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Spray Gun Proficiency: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in operating, cleaning, and maintaining airless or HVLP paint spray guns.
• Proven experience as a commercial, residential, or industrial painter.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques, paint types, and application methods.
• Ability to handle physical work, stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and work comfortably at heights.
• Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
