Qualifications:

• With previous work experience as a Painter, preferably in a fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environment.
• Knowledgeable in surface preparation, primer application, painting, and finishing of metal materials.
• Experience using spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other painting tools.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work and work in a fabrication environment.
• Willing to follow company safety and quality standards.
• Vocational/Technical course graduate is an advantage, particularly in Painting, Welding, Fabrication, Automotive, or other related fields.
• Applicants with relevant work experience but without a vocational certificate may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces through cleaning, grinding, sanding, and removal of rust, oil, and other contaminants.
• Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings according to specifications.
• Mix and prepare paint and coating materials properly.
• Check finished surfaces for proper color, coverage, thickness, and overall quality.
• Perform touch-ups and repainting when necessary.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and chemicals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
