What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the tunnel construction site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address challenges and implement effective solutions
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Provide on-site training and mentorship to construction workers, promoting skill development and a positive safety culture
• Ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations, industry standards, and company policies

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Tunnel Boss or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of tunnel construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Proven track record of leading and motivating construction teams to successfully complete projects on time and within budget
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Commitment to promoting a safe and productive work environment, with a focus on employee development and training
• Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols
