DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the design, implementation, installation, testing, and commissioning of structured cabling, enterprise WiFi, network switching, and other ICT infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site surveys and ocular inspections; assess site conditions, existing infrastructure, cable pathways, equipment locations, and network requirements.
• Prepare and review technical proposals, bills of materials (BOM/BOQ), equipment specifications, network diagrams, and project documentation.
• Assist in the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of network switches, access points, routers, firewalls, and related network equipment.
• Perform basic network configuration including VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, trunking, PoE, port configuration, and basic routing.
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and optimization of enterprise WiFi networks, including access point installation, basic RF assessment, coverage planning, and troubleshooting.
• Work with structured cabling systems including copper cabling, fiber optic cabling, patch panels, racks, cable management, and related passive components.
• Conduct testing and validation of copper and fiber optic cabling using appropriate test equipment and ensure installations comply with applicable standards and project specifications.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, WiFi performance, PoE, cabling, and equipment-related issues and coordinate with vendors/manufacturers when required.
• Assist in firewall installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting, including basic understanding of security policies, NAT, VPN, and network segmentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure proper implementation of project requirements.
• Provide technical support during project implementation, commissioning, turnover, and after-sales service.
• Prepare site reports, test results, as-built documentation, equipment configuration records, and other required technical reports.
• Monitor project activities and ensure that installations are completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Assist in identifying technical issues and recommending appropriate solutions, upgrades, or improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for deployed ICT and network infrastructure.
• Attend technical meetings, product training, seminars, and manufacturer/vendor briefings as required.
• Maintain updated knowledge of networking, structured cabling, enterprise WiFi, cybersecurity, and emerging ICT technologies.
• Perform other technical and project-related duties that may be assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related IT/ICT course.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in network infrastructure, structured cabling, WiFi, systems integration, or technical support.
• Working knowledge of network switches, enterprise WiFi, structured cabling, and basic firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, PoE, basic routing, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Cat6/Cat6A and fiber optic cabling and common testing/termination practices.
• Experience with network installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand network diagrams, floor plans, technical specifications, and BOQ/BOM.
• Willing to conduct site inspections, field work, and project deployments.
• Good communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a technical/project team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Driver's license is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as Ruckus, Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent are an advantage but not required.
