Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with experience in Riverbed Steelhead and WAN optimization technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting WAN optimization solutions while ensuring high network performance, availability, and reliability across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances to optimize WAN performance and application acceleration across LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
• Configure and support Cisco routing and switching infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.
• Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and The Dude, proactively identifying and resolving network issues.
• Troubleshoot network performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis to minimize service disruptions.
• Manage network-related incidents, service requests, problems, and change activities using ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and participate in on-call support as required.
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and IT initiatives while ensuring optimal network operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Riverbed Steelhead, RIOS, and Riverbed WAN Optimization technologies.

• Experience with Cisco networking technologies is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and WAN optimization concepts.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
