Monitoring & Documentation (Primary Focus)

Optimize, maintain, and continuously improve network monitoring systems.

Onboard new devices into monitoring platforms.

Configure alerts, thresholds, and notification policies.

Analyze recurring alerts and propose structural improvements.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date:

-Network diagrams

-Floorplans

-Rack layouts and rack booklets

-Asset documentation

-Contribute to documentation standardization and governance.

NOC & Operational Support

Act as NOC engineer:

-Respond to monitoring alarms.

-Perform initial troubleshooting and root cause identification.

-Escalate incidents where required.

-Fllow up until resolution.

-Clear or pause alarms when appropriate.

Backup Function

-Develop working knowledge of the RU network environment.

-Act as backup for the APAC Network Engineer during PTO or other absence.

-Support operational tasks, incident follow-up, and standard changes in the RU region.

-Coordinate with local stakeholders and global network team.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

or equivalent through experience.

1–3 years of experience in network or network security administration.

Technical Skills

Understanding of:

TCP/IP networking fundamentals

Routing & switching concepts (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP basics)

Firewall concepts (NAT, policies, zones)

Experience with Cisco networking equipment.

Basic knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.

Experience with network monitoring tools.

Cisco CCNA certification (or willing to obtain within X months).

Additional Cisco and/or Palo Alto certifications are a plus.
