Motion Designers at SlideGenius are responsible for producing high quality videos and motion graphics. You are a part of the animation process from start to finish, working on the concept of the design and storyboard, as well as syncing music and voice-over. You are experts in motion design and are excellent visual storytellers. Some projects require working independently while others involve working within a team. Execution of projects is done under the supervision and guidance of the Art Director of Multimedia, who Motion Designers also report to.

• Create animation and visual effects for video projects.
• Collaborate with your Art Director on developing storyboards.
• Produce high-quality assets within various art styles to be used in video production.
• Work closely with other Motion Designers in person and on Slack.
• Update internal time and project management software accurately.

• Proficient with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong experience in motion design for clients, design skills including typography, composition, color theory, and hierarchy of information.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, attention to detail, and ability to thoroughly check one’s own work.
• Can work reliably and accurately under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and facilitative.
• Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, related to Graphic Design.
• 2+ years motion design experience.
