Description
- Manage and troubleshoot UC applications and platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Mobile Device Management, Intune, etc.
- Administer and support the Microsoft Teams phone system and Landis Contact Center, including configuration, deployment, and ongoing management.
- Configure and maintain telephony systems, including phone hardware, call routing, call queues, auto attendants and voicemail.
- Ensure high availability and performance of UC systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding UC services and features.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to UC configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to UC-related incidents or emergencies promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Unified Communications Analyst or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years in supporting UC solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Teams, Exchange, video conferencing systems, etc.
- Hands-on experience with UC platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Exchange, Mobile Device Management, Intune, etc.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VoIP, and QoS.
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques for UC systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Teams Administrator, Exchange, Intune) are a plus.
- Strong programming skills for developing new and troubleshooting existing automation using PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph API.
