• Machining: Operating copy routers, punch presses, and drills to create slots for locks, hinges, and drainage.
• Assembly: Joining frames using corner cleats or crimpers, and installing weather gaskets and glass units (glazing).
• Quality Control: Checking measurements for tight tolerances and testing hardware to ensure smooth operation.
• Profile Detailing: Designing exact aluminum extrusion profiles, frames, and mullions using software like AutoCAD.
• Shop Drawings: Producing detailed layouts, elevations, and installation sections for contractors and manufacturing.
• Hardware Integration: Incorporating locks, hinges, handles, and weatherstripping into the system specs.
• Material Optimization: Planning designs to minimize waste during aluminum cutting.
• Commonly Used Tools: AutoCAD, ORGADATA, Other design software

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in aluminum window and door fabrication.
• Knowledge of aluminum profile systems and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
• Proficiency in using fabrication machines, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembly skills.
• Experience installing glass, gaskets, glazing beads, and hardware.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and fabrication tolerances.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
