The Merchandiser acts as the primary link between the brand and the consumer at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively approach customers to offer assistance and provide detailed product information.
- Perform live product demonstrations to highlight features, advantages, and benefits (FAB).
- Overcome customer objections and "close" sales.
Job Qualifications
- At least a High School Graduate; Vocational or College level is an advantage.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail sales or merchandising.
Skills
- Capable of calculating discounts, percentages, and total sales accurately.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods (8–10 hours).
- Capable of lifting and moving products to replenish shelves.
