The MEFPS Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, review, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Plumbing systems for building and infrastructure projects. The role ensures systems are code-compliant, energy-efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements, safety standards, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and review MEFPS systems including HVAC, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, fire fighting, water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for MEFPS works
  • Coordinate MEFPS designs with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines
  • Identify and resolve design conflicts, technical issues, and site challenges
  • Assist in value engineering, cost estimation, and optimization of system performance
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
  • Proven experience in MEFPS design and/or site supervision
  • Strong knowledge of MEFPS codes, standards, and best practices
  • Proficiency in design and coordination tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM tools preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Good communication and coordination skills
