Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Develop site plans, grading plans, drainage layouts, roadworks, utility plans, and other construction drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer and client feedback.
• Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and documentation.
• Assist in quantity takeoffs and preparation of technical documentation as needed.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Draftsman or CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with Civil 3D, Revit, or similar drafting software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and drafting standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure, land development, roadworks, or utility projects.
• Familiarity with GIS, BIM, or other engineering software.
• Knowledge of local building codes and engineering standards.
