• Utilize proper techniques and equipment to collect and analyze patient samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.

• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of specimens for examination.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers.

• Calibrate and validate laboratory instruments to guarantee precise test results.

• Adhere to established protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines for each test.

• Record and interpret test results accurately, reporting findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory tests and procedures.

• Conduct quality control checks and participate in proficiency testing to maintain the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

• Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials.

• Follow safety protocols, creating a clean and organized work environment.

• Stay updated with advancements in medical laboratory technology, participating in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.

• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and answering questions regarding laboratory procedures and test results.

• Maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality and data protection.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all performed tests.

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.

• Must be a Licensed Medical Technologist or a new board passer.

• Clinical or hospital training exposure is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
