The Laboratory Technologist is responsible for the technical and regulated laboratory functions involving the preparation, dispensing, handling, documentation, and control of unsealed radioactive materials used in nuclear medicine. The position ensures that all the radiopharmaceutical and radioactive product activities are performed accurately, safely, and in compliance with approved procedures, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Description
- Conduct laboratory tests to analyze body fluids, tissues, and other substances.
- Prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results and provide insights on patient care.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Technology, Nursing, Pharmacy, or any medical related field.
- Experience Level: 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in laboratory techniques and procedures
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
