Production Technician

Job Description: 

Overview:

• Production work like polishing, assembling, coloring, maintains, and inspect prosthetic legs and other prosthetic devices
• Advanced job like 3D printer operation and maintenance
• Making and reporting of work updates (like daily reports)

Details:

• Production work like polishing, assembling, coloring, maintains, and inspect prosthetic legs and other prosthetic devices
• Preparation for test fitting process : Grind prosthetic parts with machine tools, fixing with chemical putty and assemble parts following the procedure
• Adjust the socket with a heat gun or machine tools
• Keep and upload to our database some records of the prosthesis after the test fitting 
• Bond and reinforce prosthetic leg parts using resin
• cleaning up the final goods body
• Product inspection for quality validation
• Painting the prosthesis with coloring spray
• Advanced job like 3D printer operation and maintenance
• Download and save the data required for printing with a 3d printer on the computer 
• Preparation for 3D printers to print prosthetic parts : Material installation, tape replacement, height adjustment, etc.
• Take the necessary data using a 3D scanner (like a shooting video)
• Test fitting the prosthetic/orthotic devices to the patient: adjust angle, length, socket shape,etc.
• Adjusting the prosthetic/orthotic devices during delivery and follow-up
• Workspace management 
• Regular Cleaning
• Inspection and inventory management of materials such as filament(3D printer material)
• Management and maintenance of tools
• Performs other duties as assigned by the superiors
• Make suggestions for improving operations in this position's role or beyond this role.

Qualifications:

• The ability to work under strict deadlines without letting the shortage of time affect the quality of work 
• Knowledge on resolving design and functional issues arising in the course of a project
• Good verbal and written communicator in English 
• Self-motivated, self-disciplined and can do the job with minimal supervision 
• Standard computer skills: Word, Excel, email, online communication tools (slack, etc.)
