Job Description
AI-Risk Coding Associate Responsibilities:
- Assign diagnosis codes per ICD-10-CM Guidelines for CMS-HCC conditions.
- Conduct thorough chart reviews using computer-assisted coding tools.
- Apply in-depth coding principles to assign valid diagnosis codes supported by medical records.
- Demonstrate understanding of acceptable medical record documentation for CMS-HCCs.
- Exhibit advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards.
- Escalate issues appropriately to Team Lead/Operations Manager or Coding SME.
