Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
• Experience Level: 3–5 years in medical billing and coding.
• Skills and Competencies: Proficient in claims processing, ED and EM coding, inpatient and outpatient coding.
• Certifications: CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) and CPC (Certified Professional Coder) preferred.
• Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Responsibilities and Duties: Familiar with ICD-10, CPT coding, and medical terminology.
• Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
