The role supports the maintenance team on preventive maintenance activities,

conducting minor repairs and documentations. Further, assists maintenance in

project implementation and data gathering.

POSITION DUTIES

• Accomplish Preventative and Maintenance checklists of all factory equipment.
• Ensure assigned work is completed safety and in accordance with quality requirements company policy and all statutory requirements.
• Initiate and complete Job Orders and ensure timely sign-off /close off for completed work along with relevant feedback information
• Resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimise manufacturing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns/failures.
• Log at the end of every shift all work completed and work pending.
• Identify and resolve equipment reliability and improvement concerns.         
• Provide immediate responses to emergency work orders. 
• Assist Maintenance technicians for the daily assignments
• Support production employees where requested to optimise machine outputs, working closely with them to ensure that the plant can be operated safely with minimal downtime and waste.
•  Record run and downtime activities in the AEMS in correct detail
• Monitor quality to comply with customer requirements at all times
• Perform required inline quality checks while running the work order
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that come up during the production run, e.g. mechanical breakdowns, bag formation defects, printing problems, paper quality issues, etc.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Technical-Vocational Course (e.g., TESDA Machining, Electromechanical, Mechanical Technology) or a BS Mechanical/Industrial Engineering program requiring mandatory internship hours.
• Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tool handling.
• Shift Flexibility: Willing to learn and work in shifting schedules if required by the production calendar.
• Attitude: Eager to learn, safety-conscious, and a dependable team player.
