Job Title: Freezer Van Mechanical Technician

Job Summary:

Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of freezer vans, including refrigeration units and mechanical systems, to ensure efficient and reliable operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on freezer vans and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, and cooling components.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure proper temperature control and performance.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Preferably with experience in refrigeration, air-conditioning, or freezer van maintenance.
• Graduate of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) Technology, Automotive Technology, or related vocational course.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, diesel engines, and vehicle mechanical repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration and mechanical problems.
• Physically fit and willing to work on-site and during emergency repairs.
• With valid driver's license is an advantage.
• Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented.
