Job Description:

The Project In-Charge (PIC) is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and execution of mechanical works on-site, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day project operations and site activities
  • Supervise mechanical works (HVAC / MEP / piping, as applicable)
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor project schedule, manpower, materials, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety requirements
  • Prepare progress reports, accomplishment reports, and other project documentation
  • Attend coordination meetings and resolve technical/site issues
  • Ensure quality control and proper workmanship on-site

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC registered)
  • At least 3 years of experience as Project Engineer / Project In-Charge
  • Experience in HVAC / MEP / construction projects is an advantage
  • With COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) SO2 Training Certificate
  • Strong leadership and site management skills
  • Knowledgeable in project scheduling, cost control, and construction methodologies
  • Willing to be assigned on-site
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
