Job description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Drafter to create accurate technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, and project managers. The Technical Drafter will prepare 2D/3D drawings, revise existing designs, and ensure all plans meet industry and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and engineering calculations to produce accurate drawings.
• Revise drawings based on feedback, site changes, or project requirements.
• Maintain drawing files, documentation, and version control.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare as-built drawings and documentation after project completion.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, BOQs, and material take-offs when needed.

Qualifications Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as a Technical Drafter, CAD Operator, or similar role.
• At least 1 year of experience in kitchen design or kitchen equipment design is an advantage.

Certifications

• Certified CAD Operator is required.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
• Proficiency in SketchUp (required).
• Experience with Revit, SolidWorks, or similar software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of construction, engineering, or manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and blueprints.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen layouts and equipment design is an advantage.
