Job Requirements

• Associate Degree in Engineering, Computer-Aided Design or Similar Area
• 3-5 years of detailing experience using software such as AUTOCAD/REVIT
• Knowledge in/willing to learn FRAMECAD and COLD-FORMED STEEL (CFS) DESIGN METHODOLOGY
• Extensive experience collaborating with Civil/Structural Engineers and Architects
• Experience in site deployment

Responsibilities

• Develop precise shop drawings and fabrication models using AutoCAD, Revit, and FRAMECAD.
• Apply Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) methodologies to detail light-gauge steel framing components.
• Assist production teams by generating and verifying output files and cut lists directly from the design models.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing floor to resolve fabrication issues and streamline the assembly of steel framing.
• Convert architectural and engineering concepts into accurate, constructible design deliverables.
• Partner with Engineers and Architects to align detailing with structural calculations and design intent.
• Resolve design clashes and incorporate redlines to minimize field errors.
• Assist field crews during site deployment by clarifying drawing details and framing layouts.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and resolve real-time technical issues.
