Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles, engines, and mechanical systems to identify problems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake servicing, and tune-ups.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations to customers or supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in automotive or mechanical repair preferred.
• Relevant work experience as a mechanic or technician.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
