- Performing Wheel Alignments: Utilizing computerized alignment equipment and other tools to adjust wheel angles to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspecting and Diagnosing: Examining suspension and steering systems for wear, damage, or misalignment issues.
- Testing and Adjusting: Test-driving vehicles and making necessary adjustments to suspension and steering components.
- Documenting Services: Recording all services performed and findings for accurate record-keeping.
- Communicating with Customers: Explaining alignment issues and recommended repairs to customers.
- Tire Services: May include tire rotation, balancing, and mounting/dismounting.
- Maintaining Equipment: Ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of alignment equipment.
- Staying Updated: Keeping current with industry advancements and technical information related to wheel alignments.
- Educational Qualifications: Edu not required, but relevant technical training is a plus.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in a technician role.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in technical skills, strong English communication, problem-solving abilities.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Perform technical repairs, maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues.
- Working Conditions: Varied environments, potential for exposure to hazards, adherence to safety protocols necessary.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, adaptable, strong work ethic, ability to work independently and in teams.
