- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment
- Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Identify mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and company maintenance standards
- Supervise, mentor, and provide technical support to junior mechanics
- Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and repair records
- Coordinate with operations and fleet management regarding vehicle availability and repair timelines
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities
- Respond to emergency breakdowns when necessary
- Promote a safe and clean working environment at all times
