Key Duties and Responsibilities

Accounting and Regulatory Compliance

· Assist in ensuring the Company's compliance with BIR.

· Prepare tax returns, schedules, reports, and supporting documents for timely submission.

· Monitor statutory filing deadlines and compliance requirements.

· Coordinate government agencies as authorized.

· Maintain organized accounting files and records.

· Assist in the processing updates, and compliance requirements through ORUS (Online Registration and Update System), eBIRForms, eFPS (when applicable), and other BIR online systems.

· Provide accounting and administrative support as may be assigned by Management.

Procurement

· Source suppliers and obtain quotations for project materials, office supplies, tools, equipment, and other operational requirements.

· Evaluate quotations based on price, quality, delivery schedule, payment terms, and supplier reliability.

Logistics

· Arrange deliveries through third-party logistics providers such as Lalamove, Grab, trucking companies, courier services, and other accredited providers.

· Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, project engineers, and logistics providers.

· Monitor deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials at project sites.

· Resolve delivery-related concerns in coordination with suppliers and logistics providers.

· Prepare reports requested by Management.



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related business course.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant work experience with hands-on exposure to BIR compliance and tax filing requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Philippine accounting principles, tax regulations, and BIR compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with ORUS (Online Registration and Update System), eBIRForms, eFPS (when applicable), and other BIR online systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics coordination, or the construction or engineering industry is an advantage but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Honest, trustworthy, adaptable, and willing to learn and grow with a start-up engineering and construction company.
