Project Management

Description

  • Research, develop, and test materials used in various applications, such as metals, plastics, ceramics, and composites.
  • Analyze material properties and performance to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate materials under different conditions and recommend improvements or alternatives.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Investigate material failures and provide solutions to improve product performance and longevity.
  • Ensure that materials used in projects meet regulatory and safety standards.


Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience in materials research, testing, or engineering (internships or co-op positions included).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in material characterization techniques (e.g., microscopy, spectroscopy).
  • Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
