The Intern is responsible for providing support for any of the Marketing Team. In this position, the intern is expected to learn and experience the creative aspects and facets of advertising, marketing, account management, PR, influencer marketing, digital marketing and general administration from strategy to ideation to execution and production.

The intern will report to his/her Immediate Supervisor and provide active assistance with all business needs related to support the assigned team.

Primary duties but are not limited to, as applicable:

• Understand and learn all about creative advertising.
• Learn and understand print and audio-visual advertising campaigns.
• Learn to build brand image for clients’ products.
• Learn and understand all about media planning.
• Conduct research and gather notes on media campaigning.
• Conduct research, analyze and understand marketing trends.
• Learn to build client relationships.
• Learn and understand graphic arts and graphic designing.
• Prepare and execute media plans and advertising campaigns.
• Learn to operate within the budgetary limits of clients.
• Actively brainstorm with the team new and innovative ideas to engage a larger (captured) audience.
• Assist in the management of social media outlets/accounts by increasing frequency of interaction, keeping the content fresh
• Learn to build relationships with clients and third-party suppliers (production, event and influencers)
• Other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Intern requirements and overall characteristics needed for this role:

• Currently enrolled in any undergraduate (advertising, marketing, communications, social sciences) program.
• Exhibit strong organizational, time management and detail-oriented skills
• Possess willingness to learn
• Open, inquisitive, can-do character with a focus on problem solving in creative ways
• Confident enough to speak up, challenge and ask why (a lot)
• Collaborative with a passion for delivering industry-defining work
• Ability to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
• Exercise a strong customer service skills and and a strong desire to find solutions for the clients
• Solid grasp of social media marketing
