About Instalimb

Instalimb is a healthtech company on a mission to create a world where everyone in need can access high-quality, affordable prosthetic and orthotic devices. Using 3D scanning, 3D printing, and AI, we produce prosthetic legs at a fraction of the conventional price and with far shorter delivery times — putting mobility within reach of people who could never afford it before.

The Philippines is one of our most important markets, where demand for prosthetics is driven by diabetes, road accidents, and other causes of limb loss. Our work here is about more than products; it is about restoring dignity, independence, and opportunity for Filipino patients and their families.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Marketing & Communications specialist to lead and grow Instalimb’s brand presence and storytelling across the Philippines. This role owns our brand, public relations, content, events, and partnership communications — ensuring a consistent, compelling voice that builds awareness, trust, and patient demand.

As the marketing presence in-country, you will also supervise one direct report (a Marketing / Communications Associate), guiding their day-to-day work, developing their skills, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality output. This is a hands-on role for someone who can set strategy and execute, while building a small, effective team.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Communications Strategy

  • Develop and own the Philippine brand and communications strategy in line with Instalimb’s global mission and identity.
  • Safeguard brand consistency across all channels, materials, and touchpoints — visual identity, tone of voice, and key messaging.
  • Craft and refine patient-centered narratives that communicate Instalimb’s impact with empathy, accuracy, and cultural sensitivity.

Content, PR & Media

  • Plan, produce, and oversee content across social media, website, email, and printed collateral.
  • Work closely with Global marketing manager and devise Philippine social strategy

Events, Partnerships & Outreach

  • Plan and execute events, clinic activations, and awareness campaigns that drive patient inquiries and community engagement.
  • Support communications for partnerships with hospitals, clinics, NGOs, government bodies, and corporate partners.
  • Represent the Instalimb brand at relevant industry, healthcare, and community gatherings.

Team Supervision (1 Direct Report)

  • Supervise, coach, and develop one Marketing Asst based in the Philippines.
  • Set clear goals, priorities, and timelines; review work for quality and brand alignment before publication.
  • Provide regular feedback, conduct check-ins and performance reviews, and support the associate’s professional growth.
  • Delegate effectively while remaining hands-on, ensuring the two-person team consistently delivers on commitments.

Planning & Performance

  • Manage the marketing calendar and budget for the Philippines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Track and report on campaign and channel performance, using insights to improve future activity. Collaborate with external marketing agency to reduce CPA.
  • Coordinate with global and regional teams to align local execution with company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in marketing, brand, or communications roles, ideally with some in healthcare, medical devices, NGO, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage brand, and content— from strategy through hands-on execution.
  • Prior experience supervising, mentoring, or leading at least one team member or coordinating others’ work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a lean team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a startup, scale-up, or fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or patient-facing communications and relevant sensitivities.
  • Working knowledge of digital tools (social platforms, basic design tools such as Canva, email marketing, and analytics).
  • A network within Philippine healthcare, media, or NGO communities.

What We Offer

  • The chance to do meaningful work that directly improves lives and restores mobility.
  • A visible, high-ownership role with room to shape the brand in a growing market.
  • Leadership responsibility and the opportunity to build a team over time.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture connected to a global organization.
