Fish Mechanic

Job Description
- Fixing and servicing mechanical fishing gear like winches, net haulers, longline systems, or trawl doors
- Repairing hydraulic systems used for lifting and hauling catches
- Maintaining processing machinery on factory fishing boats (filleting machines, conveyors, ice makers, etc.)
- Ensuring the vessel’s fishing gear is safe and operational during voyages
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Marine Engineering or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in English, electrical systems, wiring, and hydraulic technology.
- Working Conditions: Typically work on boats, may involve outdoor settings and varying weather.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, problem-solver, and possesses strong communication skills.
