Job Summary

provides professional nail care, grooming, and beautification services to clients. They ensure the health, cleanliness, and aesthetic appearance of fingernails and toenails while following strict hygiene and safety standards. They consult with clients, recommend suitable treatments, and perform services accurately to deliver high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, check for any nail or skin conditions, and explain available services
• Perform basic and advanced nail care services:
• Manicures and pedicures
• Trimming, shaping, buffing, and cleaning nails and cuticles
• Applying nail polish, gel polish, acrylics, and nail art/designs
• Applying nail extensions, overlays, and wraps
• Moisturizing and massaging hands, arms, feet, and lower legs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational course or TESDA NC II / NC III Certificate in Beauty Care Services (Nail Care) is highly preferred and recognized in the Philippines
• Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in a salon or spa is preferred; fresh graduates or trainees with demonstrated skills are welcome to apply
• Knowledge:
• Understanding of nail structure, skin anatomy, and common nail conditions
• Knowledge of different nail products, chemicals, and their safe application
• Familiarity with sanitation, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Skills:
• Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Creativity and attention to detail for nail art and precise work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact politely with clients
• Patience and ability to work efficiently under busy schedules
• Personal Qualities: Neat and professional appearance, good personal hygiene, friendly attitude, and strong customer service orientation

Working Conditions

• Work is done indoors in a clean, well-lit, and ventilated salon or spa environment
• Requires sitting or standing for long periods
• Exposure to water, cleaning solutions, nail polishes, and chemical products; proper ventilation and protective gear are required
• Working hours may include weekends, holidays, and evenings depending on the salon’s operating schedule
