Responsibilities

A.    Machining Operations

1.   Review drawings, programs, and job orders to determine machining requirements.

2.  Set up tools, jigs, and fixtures accurately to ensure machining precision.

4.  Monitor machine operations and inspect initial outputs using measuring instruments to verify conformance.

B.  Planning and Material Handling

1.  Review job orders, and plan the sequence of machining operations.

2.  Prepare and select appropriate tools, materials, and equipment prior to operation.

3.   Monitor material inventory, anticipate requirements, and initiate Purchase Requests.

C.    Maintenance and Safety

1.  Conduct daily checks and preventive maintenance on assigned Lathe and Milling machines.

2.  Maintain work area cleanliness and observe 5S standards.

3.  Adhere to all company safety policies and operating procedures to prevent accidents and ensure safe operation.

D.    Documentation and Reporting

1. Record production data and activities in the Daily Activity Report and production logs.

2. Accomplish preventive maintenance checklist and report machine issues, tool wear, or quality nonconformities to immediate supervisors.
