Job Description
- Perform Sparking EDM operations for spare parts used in tooling and repair projects.
- Manufacture parts that meet dimensional tolerances as specified in technical drawings.
- Program machines using G-Codes for accurate machining processes.
- Fabricate electrodes using milling and lathe machines.
- Maintain and update inventory of tools, accessories, and instruments used for Sparking EDM.
- Machine jigs and fixtures as required for production and tooling support.
- Ensure safety and proper maintenance of machines and tools in the tool room, especially Sparking EDM machines.
- Uphold 5S housekeeping standards, teamwork, and coordination with other departments to comply with company rules and regulations.
Job Requirements
- College level or vocational course in a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months in a similar role or related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and 2D drawings.
- Knowledge of Surface Grinding and Milling Machine operations.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
