MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and safely operating specialized machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality goods. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, feed, and operate production machinery according to specific blueprints, schematics, and engineering instructions.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on outputs using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure products meet strict company and client specifications.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine equipment maintenance, clean machinery, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of production quantities, material usage, and equipment maintenance cycles.
• Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, quality assurance teams, and warehouse staff to optimize production workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school graduate, at least 1 year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills for operating digital machine interfaces.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours), perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High precision and a keen eye for detecting defects or mechanical irregularities.
• Strong communication, time-management, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
