Duties and Responsibilities of a Sifter

• Operate and monitor sifting or screening equipment
• Separate materials based on size, quality, or specifications
• Remove impurities, foreign objects, or defective products
• Inspect materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas
• Report equipment issues or product defects to supervisors
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Record production or inspection data as required

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Willing to work in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
• Willing to render overtime or work on shifting schedules when needed
