The Engineering Supervisor leads the Engineering Department in overseeing daily operations, project planning, and timely completion of engineering activities. This role includes managing and guiding the team through all stages of project execution, from new model introductions to process improvements, ensuring that quality standards are met and production support is provided. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for analyzing defects, implementing yield improvement strategies, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to address production challenges. The Engineering Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining project timelines and driving the continuous improvement of production processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead engineering projects related to new model development, process improvement, tooling, and equipment modifications, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

Conduct trial runs, analyze results, and implement improvements to optimize product quality, yield, productivity, and production efficiency.

Identify product defects, production bottlenecks, and process issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Develop and maintain process controls for new and existing models to ensure stable and consistent production quality.

Design and implement jigs, tools, and process improvements to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and optimize manufacturing operations.

Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and KPIs using project management tools such as Gantt charts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion.

Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and other departments to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Research and introduce new technologies, methods, and engineering solutions to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance production capabilities.

Supervise, mentor, and develop Engineers, Technicians, and support staff, including task allocation, performance management, and resource planning.

Represent the Engineering Department in daily production and monthly quality meetings and provide regular updates and reports to management.

Monitor team and project performance, review KPIs, and prepare weekly/monthly reports on engineering activities, improvements, and key issues.

Perform other engineering-related duties and special projects as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.

At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role within an engineering department, with proven experience in managing teams and engineering projects.

Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from concept to completion, with a strong record of meeting deadlines and staying within budget.

Practical experience in providing engineering support to production teams,

troubleshooting production issues, and implementing effective solutions to optimize workflows.

Proven history of implementing process improvements and establishing quality control measures to reduce defects and enhance yield.

Experience in setting, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success, team performance, and quality outcomes.

Prior experience collaborating with multiple departments, such as Quality, Production, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and alignment on engineering objectives.
