Job Summary

Supports delivery drivers by assisting with the loading, unloading, and delivery of products to customers in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Prior experience in delivery or warehouse work is a plus.

• Ability to lift heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 75 lbs]) regularly.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading products from delivery trucks.
• Deliver products to customers’ homes or businesses, ensuring items are handled with care.
• Help navigate delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the delivery driver and customers.
• Use hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment to transport heavy items.
• Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Assist with returns or product pickups as needed.

Work Environment

• Frequent physical activity including lifting, bending, climbing in/out of vehicles.

• Exposure to various weather conditions during deliveries.

• Fast-paced, customer-facing role with high interaction levels.
