The client is seeking an Impex Staff OR Impex Group Leader who can join at any time

Job Description:

Impex Staff:

1. Knows how to handle and process PEZA documentation and transactions.

2. Basic knowledge regarding importation and exportation.

3. Assists in Import and export documentation and filing

4. Prepares PEZA documentation, including LOA applications for local transactions.

5. Makes liquidation ledger for all PEZA form transactions and other reports necessary for submission.

6. Maintains complete files of all documents for reference and audit purposes.

7. Assist Sub-GL/GL with Import/Export.

Impex Group Leader:

1. Secure approval of tax and duty-free raw materials before the arrival of shipment and mass production to government agencies.

2. Monitor, update, and apply new product, models to government agencies like PEZA, BOC, DENR, etc.

3. Prepare and request payment of customs duties and taxes for all raw materials entered tax- and duty-free and manufactured into finished products and intended for delivery/sell to local customers before delivery.

4. Monitor billing received for the services rendered by Broker/Forwarder/trucker/Shipping Lines based on the agreed quotation and process billing for submission to Accounting.

5. Apply for General Transportation Surety Bond (GTSB) for the Importation of raw materials/production machinery and equipment at PEZA Head Office.

6. Receive quotations from various Brokers/Forwarders/Truckers and study the same to select the best service provider for endorsement to Management.

7. Maintain a file of the selected service provider with the complete set of required documents.

8. Evaluate all service providers based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, Environment and Stability quarterly.

9. Attend meetings and other activities relating to all Import, Export and Domestic transactions.

Standard Qualifications

1. Knowledge in shipping documentation like Invoice, Packing List, different kinds of Bills of Lading, Incoterms, Certificate of Origins and other trade-related documents, terminologies and processes.

2. Knowledge of the Bidding Requirements and Process of brokers' and forwarders' services.

3. Knowledge in accreditation and evaluation of Suppliers.

4. Knowledge in budget planning and reporting.

5. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

6. Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.

7. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

8. Possesses strong interpersonal skills to relate with all members of the group

P40.00 Meal Allowance for overtime of 4 hours or more
