- Coordinate and manage the routing of our transport vehicles to ensure timely deliveries for Roadwise Logistics Corporation.
- Monitor transportation operations to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
- Dispatch orders and communicate with drivers to address any issues that arise en route.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle movements and cargo, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Work closely with customer service to provide updates and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma required; higher education or certifications in relevant field preferred
- Experience Level: Previous dispatch experience or experience in a related field preferred
- Skills and Competencies: Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with dispatch software and GPS tracking
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced office setting; may require shift work, weekends, and holidays
- Qualities and Traits: Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, decisiveness, and composure under stress
