Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet / Motor pool Management

• Supervise daily operations of the motor pool and company drivers
• Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and in good running condition
• Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and mileage
• Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs
• Maintain updated records of vehicle registration, insurance, and permits

2. Logistics Coordination

• Plan and coordinate transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel
• Ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods to project sites or clients
• Optimize routes and scheduling to reduce cost and improve efficiency
• Coordinate with warehouse and project teams for delivery requirements

3. Driver Supervision

• Assign drivers and monitor attendance, performance, and discipline
• Ensure drivers follow company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations
• Conduct regular toolbox meetings or safety briefings
• Evaluate driver performance and recommend training if needed

4. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain logs of vehicle usage, trip tickets, fuel issuance, and repairs
• Prepare regular reports on fleet status, costs, and logistics performance
• Monitor and control transportation-related expenses

5. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company safety standards
• Investigate accidents or vehicle incidents and prepare reports
• Implement safety programs and preventive measures

6. Inventory and Asset Control

• Monitor tools, spare parts, and fuel inventory
• Ensure proper issuance and control of motor pool supplies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in logistics, fleet, or motor pool supervision
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport operations
• Good leadership and supervisory skills
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting systems
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations
