Line Cook

We are looking for a hardworking, organized, and reliable Line Cook to join our Operations Team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food items according to Coffee Daily’s recipes, quality standards, and food safety procedures while maintaining an efficient and clean kitchen environment.The successful candidate will also be trained and cross-trained in other operational roles, depending on business needs, skills, and performance.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to approved recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and appearance.
• Properly handle, store, label, and portion ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Monitor ingredient availability and inform the Store Manager of low-stock or damaged items.
• Assist with food preparation, production, receiving, inventory, and restocking as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workstation during service.
• Coordinate with baristas, cashiers, and other team members to ensure smooth order preparation.
• Handle rush periods efficiently while maintaining food quality and safety.
• Participate in company training, coaching, and operational programs.
• Perform other duties related to store operations as assigned.

Cross-Training & Career Development
Line Cooks may be trained in other available Operations roles based on their performance, potential, skills, and operational requirements. Cross-training may include barista duties, cashier/POS, inventory, production, customer service, and leadership responsibilities.
