Job Description
Physical StrengthTeam Exercise
Description
- Identifies potential threats to safety
- Watches over patrons to ensure they are safe
- Rescues patrons in danger of drowning or in need of first aid
- Contacts appropriate persons in case a situation escalates beyond their expertise
- Assists with swimming lessons
- Enforces the facility’s rules
- Maintains a level of physical competence to carry out the job
- Inspects facility and immediately reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor
Requirements
- With Lifeguard Services NCIII
- First aid, CPR, and AED certification
- Physically fit
- Competent swimmer
- Completed lifeguard training
- Prior experience of at least 3 months is preferred
