Job Title: Licensed Pharmacist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in a Primary Level Hospital setting. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications, maintaining proper inventory control, and supporting patient care through medication counseling and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders
• Review prescriptions to ensure appropriateness of therapy and dosage
• Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper use, side effects, and storage
• Monitor drug inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure availability of essential medicines
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and comply with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication management
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and support staff, if applicable
• Ensure compliance with DOH and FDA regulations
• Participate in hospital quality assurance and safety programs

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Pharmacist
• Fresh graduate may apply
• Licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
• With or without hospital experience (experience in a hospital setting is an advantage)
• Knowledgeable in drug dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work on shifting schedules
