Job description

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the Project Team on the technical details of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, and fire protection works of the project.
  • Supervises the preparation of body plans, wall setting‑out plans, shop drawings, as‑built drawings, and all other plans and drawings assigned to the department.
  • Attends and, at certain times, conducts technical meetings and plan review meetings.
  • Reviews the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, and fire protection plans.
  • Reports discrepancies or design issues between the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, and fire protection plans to the Project Manager and prepares the necessary clarificatory documents.
  • Monitors and follows up the resolution of discrepancies or design issues in the construction drawings.
  • Reports to the Project Manager any delays in the resolution of design issues and prepares follow‑up correspondence to CMT/PMT.
  • Reports discrepancy between bid plans and For Construction Drawing (FCD).
  • Reports changes from PMT/CMT site instructions and/or PMI.
  • Ensures that the drawings released on site for implementation are accurate and updated.
  • Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports as well as weekly productivity reports.
  • Prepares and updates monitoring charts regularly.
  • Issues non‑conformance notices to domestic subcontractors for each non‑conformance discovered.
  • Assists the project team in ensuring good housekeeping within the project site.
  • Ensures that the company’s safety and security program is properly implemented.
  • Coordinates with the MEP Coordinator or MEP Engineer regarding the progress of works of the MEP contractors in relation to architectural works.
  • Performs quality assessment of formworks and concreting through daily observation and inspection.
  • Performs quality assessment of site works through daily observation, measurement, and inspection.
  • Reports non‑conformances to the Project Manager.


Qualification and Skills Requirement

Educational Attainment:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture
  • Preferably licensed
  • Preferably with COSH or safety‑related trainings

Work Experience:

  • 0–1 year of experience in construction or real estate industry
  • Experienced in dealing with subcon and clients
  • Minimum of 1 month or 160 hours of internship experience is considered

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards
  • Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and safety standards
  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing construction plans and drawings
