The Liaison Officer is responsible for coordinating with government agencies, private organizations, suppliers, and external partners to facilitate the processing of permits, licenses, legal documents, and other business-related requirements. The role ensures timely compliance with government regulations while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and facilitate applications for government permits, licenses, and registrations.
  • Coordinate with government agencies such as the BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, DOLE, and local government units (LGUs).
  • Submit, receive, and monitor official documents, applications, and legal correspondence.
  • Ensure timely renewal of business permits, licenses, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver and collect important documents from clients, suppliers, government offices, and business partners.
  • Assist in securing clearances, certifications, and other compliance-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of permits, licenses, and government transactions.
  • Monitor the status of applications and provide regular updates to management.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all external transactions are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with government agencies and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in processing company registrations, amendments, and business compliance requirements.
  • Prepare reports related to permits, licenses, and liaison activities.
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of documents before submission.
  • Resolve issues and follow up on delayed or pending government transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
  • Handle confidential company documents with professionalism and integrity.
  • Support administrative tasks related to legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate transportation and scheduling for official company transactions when necessary.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a Liaison Officer or in a similar role (fresh graduates with relevant experience may also apply).
  • Knowledge of government processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
  • Willing to travel frequently for official business.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license (preferred but not required).
