Description

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain legal documentation and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with project teams to identify legal risks in construction projects.
  • Provide legal support during dispute resolutions.
  • Assist in corporate governance matters and policy development.
  • Stay updated on industry-specific legislation and apply it to protect company interests.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is required.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in a legal setting, with exposure to legal research, documentation, and compliance.
  • Skills and Competencies: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high-level analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, efficient time-management, and proven critical thinking skills. Familiarity with handling claims and obligations as well as compliance regulations.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Provide support to the legal department, draft and review legal documents, ensure compliance with applicable laws, assist in research, and collaborate with legal teams on case management.
  • Working Conditions: Office setting, requiring long periods of sitting and working on a computer, with occasional overtime during critical project periods.
  • Qualities and Traits: A reliable and proactive individual with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, excellent organizational skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.
